The Gobi Desert might be the namecard of Mongolia after mighty Genghis Khan - this enormous desert  - the Mongols take pride in the Gobi Desert as this part is considered to be the most beautiful part of the Gobi desert. The Gobi is not a lifeless desert but is a home to several endemic species including the Mongolian Wild Camel, Mongolian Gobi Bear "Mazaalai" to name a few. 

The Naadam festival is the biggest celebration of test of courage, strength, dexterity, and marksmanship of Mongol nomads. Naadam takes place on 11-12 July and features "Three Manly Sports": wrestling, horse racing and archery. The festival originated from the era of Khunnu Empire and was originally organized as a competition to test the skills of Mongolian Warriors of different tribes.
