Postcards from clients
Dear Mongolia Luxury Travel,
Now that we are home in Thailand, we want to thank you for all of your help in arranging our Jewels of Mongolia tour this past month. We had an absolutely fantastic time, from beginning to end, on our recent trip to Mongolia. We could not have been more pleased and impressed with their constant attention to detail and comfort for their guests. We had so many good belly laughs with our tour group they made this trip a dream come true.

Mongolian weather and Mongolia climate
Best time to travel Mongolia: The best time to travel in Mongolia is between late May to early October when the weather is milder with average of +20'C daytime. However, some tours are organised only in winters such as the Golden Eagle Hunting Experience and the Thousand Camel Festival and so on.
Mongolian climate: There are four well-defined seasons, and on average, the sun shines for well over 250 days a year. The climate is extremely continental with low precipitation. Average summer temperature is +20’C, average winter temperature is -26’C, average rainfall -200-220 mm.
Winter lasts from November to late April. Although Mongolian winter is cold with lot of snowfall, despite these temperatures, the blue winter sky makes it often feel warmer. Also Mongolia's a relatively dry country making it an enjoyable place both in summers and winters with less humidity.
The so called "rainy season" is from July to September, but the showers are often brief. The summer is a very pleasant time because, although temperatures can reach +40 Centigrade, the air is very dry and pleasant.
The Gobi usually has the hottest temperatures. Summer evenings can be cool because of Mongolia's high altitude. The spring is a time of strong winds, especially difficult in the sandy areas of the Gobi.

The Naadam festival is the biggest celebration of test of courage, strength, dexterity, and marksmanship of Mongol nomads. Naadam takes place on 11-12 July and features "Three Manly Sports": wrestling, horse racing and archery.
This month's featured accommodation is Steppe Nomads tourist ger camp in serene Gun-Galuut Nature Reserve, only 2hr drive from Ulaanbaatar. The nomadic style eco camp offers 24 roomy and comfortable Mongolian gers, along with tasty dishes and a good range of wine and a great range of activities.
