Trans-Siberian train tickets, train tickets to / from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
Trans Mongolian Route - is not arguably the most interesting route out of the Trans-Siberian Train Journeys. The weekly Trans-Mongolian (train 4 eastbound, train 3 westbound) train leaves Moscow for Beijing every Tuesday night. The 7,621 km (4,735 mile) journey takes 6 days. This train crosses Siberia, cuts across Mongolia and the Gobi desert, then enters China and passes through the Great Wall.
There's a second weekly train between Moscow and Ulan Bator (train 6 eastbound, train 5 westbound).
Alternatively, there are daily trains between Moscow and Irkutsk and a daily train between Irkutsk and Ulan Bator (train 263/264).

The Naadam festival is the biggest celebration of test of courage, strength, dexterity, and marksmanship of Mongol nomads. Naadam takes place on 11-12 July and features "Three Manly Sports": wrestling, horse racing and archery. 
This month's featured accommodation is Steppe Nomads tourist ger camp in serene Gun-Galuut Nature Reserve, only 2hr drive from Ulaanbaatar. The nomadic style eco camp offers 24 roomy and comfortable Mongolian gers, along with tasty dishes and a good range of wine and a great range of activities.
